All humans have sinned and are separated from God. Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins and rose from the dead to defeat death. Through faith in Him, we are forgiven, made right with God, and given eternal life. This salvation is a gift, received by repentance and faith — not by our own good deeds.
