Pathfinder & Adventurer Club Meetings, Twice a Month, September – May
These clubs are church-centered spiritual-recreational-activity programs designed for young people 6 to 9 years of age for Adventurers and 10 to 16 years of age for Pathfinders. They are filled with action, adventure, challenge, group activities, and provide opportunities for the development of new attitudes and skills that produce personal growth, team or community spirit, and a sense of loyalty and respect for God, His Creation, and His church.
The Adventurers Club is led by Jesserie F. and the Pathfinder Club is led by Kisha C.. Both are currently accepting new members.
Club meetings are held September through May, usually the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. The Adventurers meet from 1:30 – 3:00 pm and the Pathfinders meet from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, at the Cochise SDA Christian School located at 1462 S. Naco Highway, Bisbee, AZ.
Creation Seminar – September 18 & 19
Michael Calcagno, of Arizona Origin Science Association (AzOSA), will be at the Sierra Vista SDA Church on September 18 and 19 to present a seminar series.
Friday, Sep. 18 @ 6:00 pm – Research & Development? Not with God! – Understanding “Irreducible Complexity”, and fundamental aspects of Research & Development!
Saturday, Sep. 19 @ 11:00 am – The Crimson Worm -A critter whose lifestyle is a parable of the gospel!
Saturday, Sep. 19 @ 2:00 pm – Continuous Environmental Tracking: A Bible-based approach to how organisms actually adapt!
Church Business Meeting – September 20
All church members, please come to the Better Living Center (BLC), the building across the parking lot from the church, for a Church Business meeting on September 20 at 9:00 am. Please see your bulletin for topics that will be discussed.
Chili Cook-off & Dominoes – September 20
Everyone is invited to join us on Sunday, September 20th, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, in the
Better Living Center (BLC), the building across the parking lot from the church, for a chili cook-off contest and games of dominoes. Contact Angie L. to enter your award-winning recipe in the contest. Make sure to bring your friends too! Invitations will be on the table in the church lobby.
