Mr. Spooner reminds us that what Jesus did when He died at Calvary will draw us all to Him and bring out in us the love that God meant for us to have in the first place.
Pastor Schnell talks about the thief on the cross who repented of his sin and how the most important thing any of us can do is to repent, giving our hearts to Jesus.
Mr. Hamous gives the second part of his presentation on assurance of salvation through righteousness by faith.
All humans have sinned and are separated from God. Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins and rose from the dead to defeat death. Through faith in Him, we are forgiven, made right with God, and given eternal life. This salvation is a gift, received by repentance and faith — not by our own good deeds.
